🧑🔬 Roles and Responsibilities
Supervisors / Principal Investigators (PIs):
Responsible for implementing and enforcing safety standards, ensuring personnel have completed safety training, and overseeing lab operations.
New Personnel and Volunteers:
Required to complete all mandatory training sessions, familiarize themselves with safety manuals, and actively maintain a safe work environment.
🎓 Training Requirements
Vector Solutions:
Required by the Environmental Health & Safety Office. Modules include:
- Fire Extinguisher Safety
- Hazard Communication
- Injury and Illness Prevention
CITI Training:
Required by the Department of Research and Biotechnology through the Office of Research Regulatory Affairs.
