ID Badge and Campus Access

  • ID Badges: Must be worn visibly at all times while on university premises. Badges serve as your primary identification and access card for various campus buildings.
  • Access Card Use: Your badge grants access to the facilities you are authorized to enter. Misuse of badges or allowing unauthorized individuals to use your badge is strictly prohibited and may lead to disciplinary action. To gain access, training must be completed.
  • Obtaining a Badge: On the Pomona campus, badges are issued by the security desk in the USC Building. At the Lebanon campus, they are issued by the Office of Operations.
  • If you left your badge in an area you cannot access, please call Campus Security who will escort you and help retrieve your badge or keys.
  • If you forgot your badge, please notify your lab supervisor or other lab mates so they can let you in. If either are not on campus, please call Campus Security. Access will not be allowed if you do not already have badge access on your credentials!

Reporting or Replacing a Lost Badge

Lost or Stolen Badge: Report any loss or theft of your badge within 24 hours to campus security. A replacement fee may apply.

  1. Call Campus Security to notify of your lost badge and to disable it
  2. Notify Access Control Immediately by emailing accesscontrol@westernu.edu

Parking and Transportation

Parking Policies: WesternU provides various parking options for employees, students, and visitors.

  • Permit Requirement: All vehicles parked in university parking lots must display an appropriate parking permit. Permits are issued through the Bursar’s Office, and fees are collected annually. Click here to see which parking permit is right for you!
  • Permit Display: Attach permits to your vehicle’s rear-view mirror or a visible area as instructed. Failure to display a permit correctly may result in a citation.
  • Reserved Parking: Employees with reserved permits must park in their designated spots, clearly marked by signage. Unauthorized vehicles in reserved spots may be towed at the owner’s expense. Click here to see the campus map of where to park at our Pomona Campus!
  • Alternative Parking Options in Pomona: City parking permits are available for public lots near campus; however, availability is not guaranteed.
