The time commitment depends on each specific trial. You may be asked to come in for multiple visits. Before you enroll, the study team will explain these commitments and will work with you to schedule visits when you are available.

​​​​​Yes, if you join a clinical trial, you are voluntarily participating and can leave the trial at any time or for any reason. Withdrawing will not affect your future healthcare or educational standing in any way. If you choose to leave, any collected data will remain confidential.

​​​​​​Participants do not have to pay to receive OMT or other treatments in these trials. In fact, you may be compensated for your time. The university or osteopathic organizations and sponsors usually help fund these trials.
