Background

Dr. Bobby Nourani, DO, has a rich background in biochemistry, family medicine, and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. After completing his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego, and a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University, Dr. Nourani pursued his residency in Family Medicine at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, where he served as Co-Chief Resident. His advanced training continued with a fellowship in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Mercy Health Partners in Muskegon, MI.

Research Interests

Dr. Nourani's research has focused extensively on osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and regenerative therapies such as dextrose prolotherapy for managing chronic pain conditions. He has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications, including studies exploring the efficacy of prolotherapy in knee osteoarthritis and coccydynia. As the principal investigator for various quality improvement projects, he has led research on multi-modality treatments for chronic low back pain and the treatment of headaches with transrectal OMT.
