Mekedlawit Efrem

Mekedlawit Efrem is a Master’s student at the Western University of Health Sciences, the College of Pharmacy. Her research focus is on molecular modelling and computational pharmacology. She analyzes the small-scale interactions between lipids and ion channels for drug targeting and discovery. She also works on determining the octanol-water partition coefficient using enhanced sampling methods in molecular dynamics.
