Aashish Bhatt, PhD

My research primarily focuses on mechanosensitive proteins and using active learning in drug discovery. I combine computational methods like machine learning and molecular dynamics simulations to understand better how these types of proteins work. By integrating these tools with active learning, I aim to speed up the discovery of new small molecules that can influence protein activity. This could lead to the development of new treatments for various diseases. Outside my research, I enjoy hiking, playing volleyball, and cooking.
