Jacob Schreiber, EdD

Dr. Jacob Schreiber is the Assistant Dean for Assessment and Evaluation in the College of Health Sciences at Western University of Health Sciences. In this role, he leads the design and implementation of comprehensive assessment and evaluation systems that support institutional learning, continuous quality improvement, and accreditation across health professions education programs.

Dr. Schreiber’s scholarship focuses on advancing methodologies in assessment and evaluation, with particular emphasis on equity in learner assessment, the evaluation of health systems science competencies, and the integration of emerging technologies in educational research. His work also explores the intersection of assessment, learning environments, and learner mental health, with a focus on how evaluation practices and feedback systems shape well-being, psychological safety, and professional development.
