Institute Affiliates Program

The IIBHR's Affiliates Program formalizes relationships with researchers and other behavioral health professionals who wish to collaborate with Institute members and whose work is positioned to contribute to the Institute's mission in concrete ways. Affiliate appointments recognize a formal, non-employment relationship between IIBHR and distinguished external scholars, behavioral health professionals, and leaders who contribute to the Institute’s mission. Affiliate appointments do not constitute employment and confer no compensation or benefits. The Institute consists of Institute members, Adjunct (External Affiliate) Faculty, and Research Affiliates. External Affiliate Faculty: Individuals holding full-time faculty appointments at accredited institutions or equivalent scholarly positions in research-intensive settings (e.g., senior industry researchers, health systems researchers, policy scholars) may be offered a courtesy adjunct faculty appointment.

Research Affiliate: External professionals or researchers contributing to Institute initiatives who may not hold faculty rank (e.g., industry scientists, data scientists, clinicians, policy leaders, think tank researchers) may be offered a member or courtesy adjunct faculty appointment.
