Dr. Gail Marie Evans Grayson is a dedicated and results-driven higher education leader with over 25 years of experience in academic administration, program development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. She currently serves as the Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Western University of Health Sciences, overseeing graduate programs in Healthcare Administration, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy, and Medical Sciences. In this role, she leads strategic planning, faculty affairs, accreditation efforts, and interprofessional collaboration while fostering student success and faculty research.

Dr. Evans Grayson’s clinical expertise spans medical and psychiatric social work, staff development, and quality assurance in healthcare and community-based settings. She has held key roles, including Medical/Psychiatric Social Worker, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and Staff Development Manager, ensuring excellence in patient care, compliance, and professional training. Her background in behavioral health, community outreach, and healthcare education has informed her commitment to advancing inclusive, student-centered learning environments in higher education.

A champion for diversity and mentorship, Dr. Evans Grayson has pioneered DEI initiatives, established student support programs, and secured significant funding for pipeline programs in health professions. She is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE), and the National Association of Medical Minority Educators (NAMME).

Dr. Evans Grayson holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Management from the University of La Verne, a Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
