Weiyang Deng, PhD
Dr. Weiyang Deng is a developmental scientist and researcher at Western University of Health Sciences whose work focuses on advancing early neuromotor health through innovative technology and clinically meaningful applications. His research centers on understanding how infants develop movement during the earliest stages of life, examining spontaneous limb activity, motor variability, and early neuromotor biomarkers to better identify infants at risk for developmental delay.
In collaboration with engineers and clinicians, Dr. Deng is committed to improving early identification, expanding access to effective interventions, and ultimately improving developmental outcomes for infants and families through this interdisciplinary perspective.
